Both of my parents (who are also grandparents) switched to Mac about a year ago and have never looked book. They both love their easy to use virus free machines.

“Certainly 10 minutes on the internet and the PC will be infected”… Has it happened before? Certainly. Is it going to happen all the time? Certainly not.
Alot of your arguments can be countered with “it depends”, except maybe the out of box software argument, but even that is not fair since the out of box COST of an apple is not “apple to apples” with the cost of a PC. Dollar for Dollar, I believe a PC could be paired with software to meet if not beat Apple’s out of the functionality. Out of the box, windows has IE… you simply can not make an argument for Safari over IE… and the web browser by FAR is the most used application on any computer.
