Disable Blacking out the UAC screen in Windows 7

In Windows 7 the screen goes dark when a UAC (User Account Control) window pops up.  Microsoft refers to this as the Secure Desktop.  However many people consider this to be rude an annoying behavior by their operating system.  We’re going to show you how to turn it off on Windows 7.

In Windows 7, you can navigate to the UAC settings in the Control Panel and drag the slider down until it displays “Do not dim the desktop” (Click Start –> Click Control Panel –> Click User Accounts –> Click Change User Account Control settings).

Please note that this might make your computer less secure.  We think its worth it!

Hey, and that’s it.  You’re done.  It couldn’t be easier!
