Some of us never realize how huge the Internet really is.  Let’s take a look at a few statistics for an average day on the Internet and see how big these numbers really are…

  • Over 210 billion emails are sent out daily, which is more than a whole year’s worth of letter mails sent through the US Postal service.
  • There are 3 million images upload to Flickr every day.  That’s enough images to fill a t 375,000 page photo album.
  • 43,349,547 Gigabytes of data are sent across all mobile phones daily – that’s enough to fill 1.7 million bluray discs!
  • $145 million is made from all mobile services daily and over $13 million is generated from video games.
  • 700,000 new members are added to Facebook every day – the population of Guyana.
  • 45 Million new Facebook statuses are added daily, and 5 million tweets on twitter.
  • Bloggers post 900,000 new posts every day… enough to fill the NY Times for 19 years!
