I was glad to see that was a fake mouse because when I saw the first picture I was like “Ohh.. what a cute mouse, I hope it doesn’t get killed.” But what really makes this much better than a traditional mouse trap? A better trap would be something that allows the mouse to go inside and a door closes behind them, then removes all the oxygen so the mouse just passes out and dies in a humane way.

Not sure what it costs… but I am pretty sure its not a disposable price point. When mouse brains go splat against those fancy laser optics, I sure as hell don’t want to sit there with a qtip cleaning it up. I’ll take the regular spring traps baited with peanut butter.
Better = Humane? I disagree… we have no morale obligation to disease carrying rodents that invade and damage our homes. A better trap would be able to catch multiple rats or mice, storing the dead ones in a sealed container with disinfectant and txt message you status details.
